WHO WE ARE

Company overview

The First Trust is a not-for-profit legal association registered in the State of Maryland [US]. The purpose of our organization is defined in its incorporation articles: “Non-Profit Organizations work diligently with community, group, and individuals. We educate and use scientific approaches to jump-start businesses, empower small businesses and entrepreneurs. Our articles of association dated December 29, 2016, to which are annexed the present operating specifications are instructive in this respect.”

In short, First-Trust-Team (F2T) is an association that intends to educate, train and provide training to members of the community and citizens. In the business sense, we aim to devise strategies to launch and boost their business and entrepreneurial spirit to facilitate their integration into American society. Moreover, we aim to combat poverty and underemployment and ensure a better future for their descendants.

Our difference
- Our main focus is business. We educate and empower our members and the community. We boost their entrepreneurial spirit and bring their dreams to reality. Using our scientifically proven approaches, we assist them from the beginning and during the entire lifespan of their business. We are also a platform where our members can meet other persons and work on multiple projects to build their joint venture.
Our main target
- Individuals, groups, and communities are our targets. Immigrants are mostly concerned because of their difficulty of integration in the United States of America. This happens due to language barriers, lack of knowledge, credit, and mentorship.

IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE IDEA

CHAIRMAN MESSAGE

My double experience inspired the F2T creation as a business lawyer in banking for more than a quarter-century and as an investor. I started by realizing that our legendary yet individual dynamism as Africans is drowning in the sea of powerful societies that have been built for centuries.
It is clear that individually we would be crushed in time, and our children, if not lost, will be eternal slaves. We will be held responsible for that till our grave. I always repeat these two popular sayings to remember them:
- “Money is the center of all wars and the beginning of all success.”
- “Money attracts money, and the rich becomes richer and the poor…,”

I started from the African wisdom, which says, "a single hand cannot tie a bundle.”In other words, unity is force. I learned from my experience as an advocate of law in a structure or organization that went from being a simple money savings gathering to becoming one of Africa's biggest financial groups. From that experience, I formed a conviction that if we come together, we can move mountains.
